10 Things To Know – LSU

Following a bye week, the Razorbacks are back in action when they host No. 8 LSU at Donald W. Reynolds Stadium for the Battle of the Golden Boot presented by Cox Communications. Kickoff between Arkansas and LSU is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, on ESPN.

1 – Arkansas enters Saturday night’s showdown seeking consecutive wins against ranked opponents for the first time since 2015, when they defeated No. 19 Ole Miss and No. 9 LSU on the road. The last time the Razorbacks had consecutive wins over ranked foes at home was in 2014, when they topped No. 20 LSU and No. 8 Ole Miss.

2 – Saturday’s matchup will be the 70th meeting between the rivals, with LSU leading the all-time series 44-23-2. The Razorbacks are seeking their first win over the Tigers in Fayetteville since 2014 and first overall since 2021. The last four matchups between the programs have been decided by a single possession. Saturday is also homecoming. Arkansas is 61-37-4 (.618) all-time in homecoming games.

3 – RB Ja’Quinden Jackson has rushed for a touchdown in all six games this season. He is the first Arkansas running back to rush for a touchdown in six consecutive games since Knile Davis in 2010. The last Arkansas running back to run for a touchdown in seven straight games was Darren McFadden in 2006.
