Exhibition at Kansas State time changed: closed to public
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In the run-up to the official start of the 2019 slate for the Razorbacks, the exhibition match on Friday, Aug. 9 at Kansas State that was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. CT has been moved up to a 5 p.m. CT kick-off in Manhattan. The match has also been changed to a closed exhibition to the general public. The Razorbacks and Wildcats met earlier in the year for a spring matchup in March that saw Arkansas secure a 2-0 shutout.
The exhibition will be the first of two scheduled in the preseason for the Razorbacks with the Nebraska Cornhuskers coming to Razorback Field on Thursday, Aug. 15. Start time for Arkansas and Nebraska is slated at 7:00 p.m. CT and free to the public with concessions available.
The Razorbacks are coming off a 14-win season in 2018, hosting the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament for just the second time in program history. It was Arkansas’ fifth bid to the postseason tournament, all coming under head coach Colby Hale.
The exhibition against the Wildcats will not be streamed but fans can follow @RazorbackSoccer for updates on the match and throughout the season.
