Shortly after Lindsey Heaps learned she and Alex Morgan had been named co-captains of the U.S. women's national team ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, Heaps held a private movie marathon. She devoured documentaries about world-famous captains. Her favorite was The Real Sergio Ramos. "It was so interesting because he was the captain at Real Madrid, and I think that is a lot of pressure in itself for a club like that," Heaps tells Newsweek exclusively.
