Covington Catholic loses to Louisville St. Xavier in KHSAA Sweet 16

LEXINGTON, Ky. - In a heavyweight showdown between Covington Catholic and Louisville St. Xavier, CovCath fell victim to hot shooting and a more athletic team at the rim March 18. CovCath lost 75-61 to St. Xavier in the first round of the UK HealthCare Boys’ Sweet 16 at Rupp Arena. CovCath finishes 31-3 for the season in its first trip to the Sweet 16 since 2022.
