Hardcastle earns top coaching honor to head All-Ohio girls hoops squad

The Ohio Prep Sports Writers Association released its girls All-Ohio teams recently. Locally, first-year Zanesville coach Tyler Hardcastle was named Coach of the Year in Division III after leading the Lady Devils to a nine-win turnaround from 2024-25. Additionally, 5-11 junior Ayawna Gladden was named to the third team after leading the Lady Devils in scoring (15.0 points per game) and rebounding (11.1), while hitting 81 free throws. Tri-Valley senior Maddie Garber, who averaged 11.2 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Scotties, was also a third-team selection. Sheridan senior Mylie Forgrave was named special mention.
