PREP ROUNDUP KENNEWICK, Wash. — Asotin Panthers pitcher Cody Ells threw a gem in which he fanned 18 batters through six innings of work in the first game of a doubleheader against the River View Panthers of Kennewick in nonleague high school baseball action. In Game 1, every out that Ells recorded on the mound was through a strikeout and Asotin won 4-1. Ells also hit a home run and had a double to account for three RBI in the first game.
