PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. | Cameron Young didn’t make a bogey on the back nine of the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass during the final round of The Players Championship on March 15. He birdied the Island Green on a 10-foot putt. He set a record for longest drive at No. 18 with a 375-yard boomer. He hit laser-like iron shots to set up short birdie putts at Nos. 7 and 13 and got his day off to a crackling good start by making a 15-foot birdie putt at No. 1. Young hit 13 greens and on the five he didn’t, made the short-game shots necessary to par all of them.
