Frost thump Torrent for second-straight win
Women’s Hockey fans are still riding the high of the Winter Olympics, and it’s carried over into the second half of the PWHL season. The Frost hosted a season-high 11,120 fans on Friday night for their first home game after the break. That Olympic fever high from the fans helped the Frost add another win to the column against the Seattle Torrent Friday night, as they won 4-1. “Tonight was fun,” said Frost goalie Maddie Rooney, who recorded 28 saves. “11,000 fans, you could definitely feel the energy in the building.” The Frost have had Seattle’s number early all season, outscoring them 9-2 in their two victories over them earlier in the season.
