USD basketball coaching search closes in on finalists

The University of San Diego men’s basketball team concluded its season Friday night with a 58-56 loss to Seatte University in the second round of the West Coast Conference tournament in Las Vegas. The team flew home the next morning. Athletic director Kimya Massey did not. Massey stayed in Las Vegas to conduct interviews for his vacant head coaching position that could be filled as early as Monday or Tuesday.
