Inland basketball and soccer teams headed to CIF State playoffs

The California Interscholastic Federation on Sunday afternoon released the pairings for this year’s state basketball and soccer playoffs. State qualifiers this season include 28 Inland teams: 13 in boys basketball, nine in girls basketball, four in girls soccer and two in boys soccer. This marks the first season there will be true state championship games in soccer, with the winners of Southern and Northern regionals squaring off.
