Lancaster girls' basketball stages stunning comeback in district semifinal
GROVE CITY – Trailing by eight points with two minutes to go against Grove City, things certainly looked bleak for the Lancaster girls’ basketball team during their Central District Division I district semifinal on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Somehow, the visiting Lady Gales found a way. They never wavered and refused to lose by finishing the game on a 12-0 run, and in the process, stunned the No. 6 seed Greyhounds with an improbable 43-39 come-from-behind upset victory.
