Grand County wrestling claims spotlight at state championships

The results of the state wrestling championships are in. Several West Grand and Middle Park athletes were very competitive at the Colorado High School Activities Association state championships from Feb. 19-21 at Denver’s Ball Arena. Four West Grand boys placed in the top four, and one Middle Park girl won fifth. All nine athletes who attended performed well in their first matches and gave it their all.
