Class A and B high school girls basketball teams begin their quests to qualify for 2026 state tournaments this week. Region tournament games are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The top two teams in each region advance to SoDak 16 state-qualifying games on Thursday, March 5. Winners of the SoDak 16 games advance to state tournaments March 12-14 at Watertown (Class A) and Brookings (Class B).
