It hasn’t taken long for Madie Folkema to cement herself as one of the most prolific scorers in the Muskegon area. The sophomore standout for the Western Michigan Christian girls basketball team made history on Wednesday, less than 24 hours after registering her second triple-double of the season. Folkema finished with 36 points, 12 rebounds, and eight steals during her team’s win over Montague on Wednesday and set the Western Michigan Christian single-season scorer record in the process with 432 points.
