Three Muskegon-area wrestling programs capture team regional championships

Some familiar faces will be headed back to the Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo next weekend. The Whitehall, Hart and Fruitport wrestling teams each put together strong performances on the mat Wednesday night and claimed team regional championships. For Hart, it’s the seventh straight regional championship in its storied history, while Whitehall is headed back to state quarterfinals for the sixth straight postseason.
