Nichols assistant DelleChiaie inspires in battle with stage 4 cancer

DUDLEY ‒ Nichols men’s basketball coach Tyler Hundley and assistant Ian DelleChiaie were checking out prospects at the Elite 75 College Showcase last June at Clark when DelleChiaie mentioned to Hundley he had a pain in his side. “At the time,” Hundley said, “we didn’t think anything of it.” As the summer progressed, though, and DelleChiaie began experiencing severe abdominal pain, he knew it was time to seek medical attention.
