The sport is called football for a reason. The right legs of Seahawks punter Michael Dickson and kicker Jason Myers had as much to do with the Super Bowl win as Kenneth Walker III and the Hawks’ defense. Dickson punted seven times and placed three of them inside the six yard line. That is why he is the highest paid punter in the NFL at over $4M per year. Myers set a Super Bowl record with five field goals. The Seahawk’s defense was dominant against a below-average offense with Patriots QB Drake Maye clearly playing with a bad right throwing shoulder.
