Henry Shannon III scores 1,500th point; BSU pulls out victory over Northern State at Sanford Center

BEMIDJI — Thursday night belonged to Henry Shannon III. The fifth-year forward scored his 1,500th point in the second half of the Bemidji State men’s basketball team’s 86-71 win over Northern State at the Sanford Center. After a timeout, he was recognized and given an ovation from the crowd. It wouldn’t be the loudest the Sanford Center would get for him, however. With four minutes left in the second half, NSU was still hanging around with the Beavers, trailing 74-64.
