Red Sox solidify infield with trade for 2025 Rookie of the Year finalist

FORT MYERS, Fla. – On the eve of pitchers and catchers reporting to Spring Training, the Red Sox parlayed some of their ample pitching depth into the infield addition they badly needed. Boston is acquiring Brewers third baseman Caleb Durbin in exchange for left-hander Kyle Harrison, infielder David Hamilton and lefty pitching prospect Shane Drohan to Milwaukee. The Red Sox will also receive middle infielder Andruw Monasterio, catcher/infielder Anthony Seigler, and a Competitive Balance Round B pick. Durbin, who turns 26 on Feb. 22, is the righty bat that balances the Red Sox lineup. He’s coming off a third-place NL Rookie of the Year finish after making his major league debut...
