Jay County boys basketball holds off Blackford for 11th straight win

PORTLAND — Jay County boys basketball is perhaps the hottest team in East Central Indiana right now. The Patriots led wire-to-wire over Class 2A No. 10 Blackford on Saturday, Jan. 31, winning 75-62 to pick up their 11th consecutive victory. Before the game, Jay County celebrated the 50th anniversary of Patriots basketball by recognizing members of its 1975-76 basketball and cheerleading squads.
