Oelwein basketball teams have rough outing at A-P
The Oelwein cagers struggled to find their rhythm Tuesday night, with both teams suffering losses to the Falcons. Girls The Husky girls’ team got off to a sluggish start, putting only four points of the board in the first quarter and falling behind 44-10 by halftime. Oelwein recovered in the second half and played evenly with the Falcons (8-8), even outplaying their opponents in the fourth quarter by scoring 24 points but their efforts fell short as they took a 74-48 loss.
