Report: Alouettes, receiver Mack agree to mutual release

MONTRÉAL — Austin Mack is getting a head start on CFL free agency. The veteran receiver announced on social media Monday that he’s been told by the Montreal Alouettes that they’re “moving in a different direction.” A CFL source said both Mack and the franchise have mutually agreed to a release.
