Fairfield becoming a consistent presence in girls, boys basketball
Fairfield is officially a basketball school. In the last five years, the Falcons boys and girls teams have finished a season with a losing record just once. That trend has continued this winter as both programs are successful once again in 2026. Girls head coach Kyle Hartman said much of that uniform consistency has to do with Fairfield’s efforts to get local youth involved in basketball early. That will only grow with the new $13.8 million fieldhouse that opened in late fall 2025.
