I remember an analog world, when digital spaces were something that belonged to the future and not quite the present. Instead of files on your desktop home screen, you put papers in a binder, or manilla folders inside a metal filing cabinet that took up real space against the wall of an office or hallway. Long before iCloud storage space, there were actual photo albums too. I remember spending hours flipping through them as kid in my grandfather’s gun room. You could take out photos from the plastic sheeting and physically hold them in your hands. A few notes were scribbled on the back, the place and the date perhaps.
