When first-year Central Michigan football coach Matt Drinkall found out the Chippewas were going bowling in their home state, he was geeked for several reasons, not the least of which that he wanted to get his team acclimated with playing at the site of the Mid-American Conference championship. Any lessons learned in that vein from the post-Christmas GameAbove Sports Bowl will be reinforced with a newly announced, two-game series at Ford Field against in-state rival Eastern Michigan.
