Middletown’s Jayla Koser sets career scoring mark in girls basketball win over Gettysburg

January continued to be a special month for Middletown’s Jayla Koser. One year ago, Koser eclipsed the 1,000-point mark and steered the Blue Raiders to the PIAA 5A girls basketball tournament. On Tuesday, the Mount St. Mary’s recruit added another prime chapter to her impressive Middletown resume. In moving the Blue Raiders to 15-0, Koser banked 22 points, which included a short jumper early in the fourth quarter vs. Gettysburg that made her the program’s all-time scoring leader.
