Oregon State women pull out narrow win at Pepperdine in unique fashion

Thanks to a late foul call that led to the winning free throw, Oregon State women’s basketball hung on for a 69-68 road win over Pepperdine on Saturday. Jenna Villa drew the foul prior to an inbounds pass with 0.3 seconds remaining, hitting her first free throw to cap a 25-point performance and send OSU home victorious. Pepperdine led 68-65 with 1:11 remaining in OT on Lina Falk’s three-pointer. The Waves didn’t score again, though OSU needed nearly every tick of the clock to pull it out.
