Cabrillo boys basketball picks up important win over Wilson in Moore League

LONG BEACH – Cabrillo used a physical defense and clutch free throws to rally in the second half and defeat Long Beach Wilson 73-67 in a Moore League showdown Friday night. With both teams battling to secure CIF=SS playoff berths, the game had an intense vibe to it. The Jaguars (10-9, 4-3) trailed by seven, 52-45, midway through the third quarter before closing the quarter with a 6-0 run. They trailed 52-51 heading into the fourth.
