SOUTH LYON — The holidays weren’t so happy for South Lyon East. The Cougars, who started 7-2 last winter, appeared on a similar trajectory this year by winning four of their opening handful of games. That was until they ran into Hartland at Milford’s “Skip” Holiday Invite, the start of a four-game skid that continued with the turn of the calendar.
