MASSILLON — A winter storm was brewing outside of Washington High School. The Massillon girls basketball team was preparing to weather one inside of the gymnasium as well. The ultra-talented St. Vincent-St. Mary squad was in town and set for a highly anticipated showdown with the Tigers. Massillon proved more than up to the challenge. The Tigers overcame a 10-point second quarter deficit and a seven-point fourth quarter deficit to outlast the Irish 65-60 in overtime Wednesday, Jan. 14.
