Burroughs boys’ soccer played the second game of a two-game homestand hosting the defending Mojave River League champions Oak Hills High on Jan. 9. The Burros were looking to bounce back from a tough loss to Hesperia and make the game difficult for the Bulldogs. Burroughs gave up three goals in the first, and a defensive mistake in the second kept the home team from holding the visitors scoreless in a 4-0 loss.
