Redondo Union girls basketball opens Bay League with win over West Torrance

REDONDO BEACH — The Redondo Union girls basketball team has a few goals it would like to accomplish during the 2025-26 season. The road to the first goal, a Bay League crown, began Tuesday against visiting West Torrance. “We want to win the Bay League title, that’s our goal,” Redondo’s Abby Zimmerman said. “Our goal at the end of the season is to come home with a (CIF) State Championship, so this is just part of that.
