UND's Canadian medalists eager to apply lessons learned at World Juniors

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Cole Reschny and Keaton Verhoeff walked into the media room at Grand Casino Arena on Monday night wearing their Team Canada jerseys and World Junior Championship bronze medals. It was the conclusion of a three-and-a-half-week journey filled with ups and downs, but ultimately ended with medals. Reschny and Verhoeff are both now headed back to Grand Forks to rejoin UND. Both players are carrying several lessons learned at the under-20 tournament. Reschny finished tied for third on Team Canada with four goals in seven games.
