CANTON — Saturday's Shot Clock Shootout at Memorial Field House offered high school basketball teams the experience of dealing with a 35-second shot clock ticking away every possession. For the Hoover boys basketball team, the shot clock prevented its opponent, Olentangy, from holding the ball with a lead in the final minutes and forcing the Vikings to foul.
