Updates on college athletes including Zach Schering, Jessica Ickes

Zach Schering came up with a solid effort for the Clarion University (Pennsylvania) men’s swim team at West Virginia’s Mountaineer Diving Invitational. Schering, a Jackson High School graduate, and the Division II Golden Eagles competed against three Division I colleges on Nov. 20-23 in Morgantown. Clarion won the final-day team event and Schering picked up 58.50 points with an Inward 2½ Summersault Pike off the 3-meter board. Schering also finished third in the 1-meter with 294.45 points on six dives and was sixth in the 3-meter with 294.45 points, also on six dives.
