The Detroit News presents its Dream Team for the 2025 high school football season. Wide receivers Samson Gash, 6-1, 185, Sr., Detroit Catholic Central Gash was the go-to receiver of Duke Banta’s aerial attack, coming up with 60 receptions for 1,010 yards and 14 TDs. Gash, a four-star recruit, helped Catholic Central win its first Division 1 state title since 2009, grabbing five catches in a 42-19 win over No. 1 Detroit Cass Tech. He also had a 48-yard punt return in the game. Gash, a Michigan State commit, is still undecided on his college choice, with Alabama also giving him an offer.
