If you’ve recently stepped foot in downtown Williamsburg, you’ve likely noticed the skating rink, decorated trees and holiday lights decorating storefront windows. Or maybe you caught last week’s Christmas parade and waved to a wigged colonial reenactor DJing on a literal turntable, atop a float bearing the words “Party Like It’s 1776.” Walking around Colonial Williamsburg, you may have spotted the season’s guests of honor — Father Christmas and Mrs. Claus — waving from a horse-drawn sleigh.
