Miller City holds off Ottoville

MILLER CITY – Thursday’s key Putnam County League girls basketball matchup between two undefeated teams – Miller City and Ottoville – looked to be a possible battle to the very end. And that’s exactly how the game played out. Ottoville chipped away at a seven-point fourth-quarter deficit and put itself in position to win Thursday’s game down the stretch. However, Miller City held off the Big Green for a thrilling 43-42 victory at J. Harry Leopold Gymnasium. Miller City improved to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the PCL.
