Oilers duo earn Michigan Sports Writers Division 3-4 all-state honors

Behind Mt. Pleasant’s historic football season had some spectacular names. The Division 3 runner-up Oilers have two players earning Michigan Sports Writers Division 3-4 all-state honors, announced Thursday. Senior linebacker Will Garcia earned first-team all-state honors, leading the team in total tackles on the year with 105 tackles. Junior quarterback Xavier Creguer earned honorable mention behind his great season. Creguer threw 99 passes for 1382 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also rushed 90 times for 787 yards and eight touchdowns.
