AHL: Penguins aim to power through busy stretch

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins enter the busiest portion of their schedule with Wednesday night’s matchup against Hartford being the first of 10 games in a 21-day span. The Penguins (17-5-1) remain neck-and-neck with the Providence Bruins for the top spot in the Atlantic Division with Saturday’s head-to-head matchup looming large. The Penguins went 4-1 in their five-game stretch of facing Hershey (three times, 2-1) and Lehigh Valley (two times, 2-0), which has allowed them to put some distance between them and their in-state rivals.
