Meet the Daily American Somerset County 'Finest 14' Volleyball team

It was a memorable season for the Berlin Brothersvalley volleyball team. The Mountaineers won Inter-County Conference gold, their third straight District 5-1A championship and advanced to the PIAA quarterfinals. Conemaugh Township won its second Heritage Conference crown in only its third year in the league. Shade-Shanksville collected WestPAC gold. Eight Somerset County squads earned playoff berths. Leading the way for the Mountaineers was senior setter Lexi Fairman. She tallied 905 assists, surpassing 2,000 this season. Fairman finished her career with 2,460 assists.
