When Julian Sayin tossed an interception on the second play of Ohio State’s first drive, you could almost hear Buckeye Nation scream in unison, “Not again!” The Buckeyes entered this year’s edition of The Game having dropped four in a row, in different ways but with one overarching storyline: Not being tough enough to overcome adversity. For four years, Michigan has hit the Buckeyes in the mouth, and for four years, the Buckeyes have failed to punch back. It got bad enough that even though all of the numbers foretold a comfortable Ohio State victory, there was still an underlying thought of having to see it to actually believe it.
