Vermont native Bryan Fortier climbs officiating ranks in college football
Bryan Fortier is the Northern Vermont commissioner for Vermont high school football officials. But on most weekends in the fall, Fortier is not on a football field in his home state. The 2002 Montpelier High School graduate is an official in the American Conference, whose teams compete in the Football Bowl Division (FBS). So when Fortier was part of the officiating crew for the Navy at Notre Dame game on Saturday, Nov. 8, at least 20 Vermont high school officials gathered to watch at The Pour House in South Burlington.
