Just one week of high school football remains before the start of playoff/non-playoff action in the Greater Taunton area. In Week 8, Taunton (3-4, 0-3 Hockomock Kelley-Rex) had its senior night spoiled by a pair of Attleboro juniors in a 22-14 loss. Meanwhile, Bridgewater-Raynham (5-2, 1-0 Pioneer Athletic Conference) cruised to a 41-13 win over Dartmouth and Dighton-Rehoboth (3-4, 1-2 South Coast Blue) fell 42-6 to Old Rochester. On Saturday, Oct. 25, Bristol-Plymouth (4-3, 1-2 Mayflower Large) lost the battle at the line of scrimmage to Diman and fell 41-7.
