WNC high school softball final 2025 power rankings: Enka takes No. 1 spot
The Western North Carolina softball season wrapped up May 16. With Enka and Murphy's losses in the fourth round, the WNC softball season came to an end without a team reaching the regional finals, but six teams reached the third round. Here is the final top 10 softball rankings in 2025.1. Enka (23-2) After a season-opening loss, the Sugar Jets turned it on and won 23 consecutive games to firmly establish themselves as the best team in WNC. Junior Averi Coggins broke the WNC record for batting average in a season, hitting .687, while senior Karly Presnell and freshman Savannah Frisbee were a formidable pitching duo striking out 71 and 147 batters with 0.79 and 1.54 ERAs, respectively....
