A well-deserved brotherly hug for first-time winner Leclerc

Arthur Leclerc conquered his maiden win in the FIA Formula 3 Championship on Saturday at Paul Ricard, a triumph that warranted a big hug from brother Charles.

The 20-year-old Prema Racing charger, who had already put in a sensational performance in Race 1 whe he leaped from 30th to 12th, enjoyed a lights-to-flag win in Race 2 on Saturday that thrilled the entire Leclerc family that witnessed the flawless drive.

Leclerc beat Prema teammate Dennis Hauger while MP Motorsport's Victor Martins snathed the final spot on the podium.

“I am really happy, it was a great race and really special to win in front of both F1 and my family and friends as well. It was a really special win, especially because this is so close to my home.

“I didn’t expect this at all this morning when I was starting from P30, but we did it and I am really happy about today.”
