Ayrton Senna triumphed on home turf at Interlagos on this day in 1993, clinching his 37th career win in F1 and McLaren's 100th victory.
It was a bit of a chaotic affair however after rain in the opening laps wreaked havoc on the field and forced the Safety Car to take to the track for the first time in the modern F1 era.
Senna overcame a stop-go penalty to lead home Williams' Damon Hill.
The presence on the Brazilian GP podium of the great Juan-Manuel Fangio only added to the local hero's immense joy.
