Arsenal plan to more than double midfielder’s wages with new deal

Arsenal are going to offer Emile Smith Rowe a new contract before the start of next season, as he approaches the final two years of his current deal.

The Daily Mail report that Arsenal will offer Smith Rowe a new deal ahead of next season, increasing his wages from around £15k-a-week to £40k. There is reportedly confidence that the 20-year-old will commit his long-term future to the club.
Smith Rowe’s current contract expires in 2023, so this summer is the perfect time to hand him a new one before things get tense. After two goals and five assists in just 610 minutes this season, it’s not hard to see why Arsenal would want him to stay.
