Budapest 2018: Armenian named vice champion of Europe

Tigran Lalayan brought Armenia a silver medal in the Youth Weightlifting Championship being held in Budapest, Hungary.
The sportsman (w/c +105kg) won the vice champion’s title with a total result of 406kg (184kg in the snatch and 222kg in the clean and jerk exercises). His rival was Eduard Jiaziuli of Belarus, who became the winner of gold.
In Friday’s competitions, Arsen Martirosyan won gold, Arpine Dalalyan won silver, and Diana Aghabekyan won a small bronze medal.
