[Volleyball] Madonna and Lawrence Tech to play for Women's Volleyball Tournament Title

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - (Tournament bracket) - The higher seeds were victorious in the semifinals of the 2019 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Volleyball Tournament. Third-seeded Madonna eliminated No. 7 Lourdes 3-1 in the opening match while top-seeded Indiana Tech defeated No. 5 Indiana Tech 3-1 in the nightcap.

Madonna and Lawrence Tech will play on Saturday, Nov. 16 for the tournament championship. Madonna has been to the championship game 15 times, winning nine of them. It's the first trip to the title game for Lawrence Tech. Both teams have already qualifed for NAIA Nationals - Lawrence Tech took the league's first automatic berth as conference champion and Madonna the second by reaching the championship match.
